PI3B + AMP2 + 2x 50W 6 ohm: what power needed?

Hello,

I have a PI 3B + AMP2 + 2x 50W speakers of 6 ohm and now use the default power adapter recommended for that PI. Volumio booted well and there is sound from both speakers.

Question 1. What is the downside of using the default power adapter of the Raspberry Pi?

Question 2. The AMP2 documentation refers to 12 to 24V but does not mention the A. What power source would you recommend? Might be usefull to publish a table for the common combinations.

  You mean you're using a 5V power supply? That won't work at all. 
  You need to aconnect a 12-24V power supply to the Amp and no power supply tp the Pi.

  Bit others with 60W+ will probably also do the job.
