HiFiBerry Digi+ Equalizer

I am using a RaspiPi3 to play Plexamp on my Denon AVR-X2200W receiver.  Previously, I used the same hardware with Volumio and got great results.  Now, it sounds terrible. I cannot get any bass or the sub to work.  Are there setting for this?  Thanks!
