Digi 2 Pro + DSP producing noise when UPNP signal stops

Ive recently gotten the Digi 2 pro and DSP add on. Im using it with the Bubble upnp app to stream quobuz. It works fine 99% of the time but on some occasions when I pause playback, i get this fast deep popping sound. The sound stops as soon as I press play again in the app and does not necessarily return when I pause again. I get it very roughly every 8ish pauses. Anyone have any idea where this problem originates or how to remedy it?

  Got the same problem, 100% reproductible, by streaming to squeezelite on hifiberryOS v20230404 with DSP add-on v13. Every time I pause the music, or when the play list ends, I get this fast deep popping sound quite dangerous for loud speakers. When I resume the music or deactivate the equaliser filter this popping sound immediately stops.
