I have an RPi 3B with a DAC2HD card running HFB OS. I use the LMS server software on another RPi and use the Squeezelite player option on the HFB player. I recently added a small display via the Pi's HDMI connection to display the cover art screen. I have no need for touch screen control so am not concerned about that. However, the display of cover art is terribly inconsistent. Most of the time it just displays a blank cover along with the play/pause & volume slider. If I switch between the four "Download album cover from the internet" options, the cover will sometimes pop up, but not always. Then the cover disappears on the next track even if from the same album. Switching between display options may or may not make the cover pop up again. What am I missing?

HiFiBerry team Meta data is based on artist, track name and album name. This might work better an some albums/artists than on others.

Stephan Mueller4 I switched to "Never" so hifiberry will only show covers saved as folder.jpg in the folder the music is playing from. Covers that are stored directly in the music files do not seem to be displayed.

HiFiBerry team That's correct.
