HiFiBerryOS not finding DSP?

I have bought the DAC2 HD, the DSP add-on, and the recording mic. Currently the two boards are attached to my Raspberry Pi 3B, and a light on the DSP is shining green. I used the HiFiBerryOS interface to record and save room compensation measurement for my living room.

But I don't understand how to use this measurement. In the HiFiBerryOS interface, if I click on Sound and then DSP it gives me:

Which seems to imply that it doesn't recognize that a DSP is already attached.

If I go to Room Compensation, I get:

This shows that I have a measurement, but doesn't seem to give me a way to use it either.

  We have made some changes in the DSP detection. Try upgrading to the latest experimental release:
  
  /opt/hifiberry/bin/update --experimental

  Thank you. That definitely helped: it now seems to recognize the DSP, and let me upgrade the DSP program from version 11 to 13.

  However, the second screen shot above has not changed. It shows me the Living room measurement but gives me no clear way to select it.

  You simply need to click on it.

  HiFiBerry team, I guess by "it" you mean "Living room" in the Room Compensation screen?

  If I do that I get a nice presentation of the measurement:

  

  In this pop-up, there are 3 clickable things. The "New room compensation..." button, the trash icon, and the X. I don't want the first two, so I click the X.

  That brings me back to the Room Compensation screen, which looks exactly the same as before I clicked Living room, as shown in the original post. So, going by appearances, clicking Living room has no effect. Meanwhile Off still has a check mark next to it, so it looks like room compensation is off. But, confusingly, Off is not clickable.

  How do I tell whether it is using Living room or not? How do I turn Room compensation on and off?

  If you didn't yet compute a room equalisation on this, just try removing it and start a new measurement.

  I don't understand. My screenshot above shows the Living room measurement. Is that not a computed "room equalisation"?

  No, that's just a measurement.

  And where is that process documented? I've spent a lot of time search and haven't found it. The general impression is that HiFiBerry is unconcerned about the user experience.

  i am trying around with room compensation, and facing the same issue as David here. I have a recorded room Compensation, and now i want to use it / select it. 
  As told here, it has to be "computed". What exactly ist to be made here to compute the Measurement. 
  The selection above is light gray, showing "off" like in the second picture out of Davids post here. 

  Where is the way to switch on and use the results of the room compensation?

  Looks fine. Do you have DSP funtionality under "Sound"?

  Ok, did you do the recording before you added the DSP add-on? In this case you need to do a new recording as existing recordings can't be used to create a new room correction.

  no, DSP Program 13 was set, like in my last pic, and after that i performed a Room Correction Measurement. 

  Also i right now performed a new measurement, and stored sound adjustments. 

  But, this is still the case:

  

  i simply have no clue how to run this, there is no intuitive way. Is there any hidden thing has to be set? 

  do i have to use or set the Room Compensation somewhere in the Sigma Studio?

  Wow.  so the reader of room correction manual is supposed to assume that "computing" the room correction, and "Now let’s run the optimizer:" refers to press the button for "new room compensation". 

  You might be more specific in documenting.
