HifiberryOS with Digi+ : blocking volume to max

First a big thanks for the Hifiberry OS. It is a wonderfull piece of software and everything is working perfeclty on Raspberry Pi 2B with Digi+.

I was just wondering how it would be possible to block the software volume to max. When using Squeezelite with LMS it is easy since it is possible to force the volume to max in the settings of LMS for Hifiberry. However for Spotify connect, there is no such setting.

I was wondering if by tweking asoundrc file it would be possible. My first try was to change min volume of softvol to 0.0dB but it is not working, spotify connect do not want to start again. Any other idea?

  You might be able to simply bypass softvol in asound.conf. However, this means that the configuration is different from what HiFIBerryOS expects. While it might work, it might also create problems with some packages and/or updates.
