During the past year I've installed new speakers, DSP and amps in my car and I have come to a crossroad of sorts.
I dont want to use a dedicated car head-unit, instead I want to use the digial input on my dedicated DSP.
I want is to use a raspberry pi as a headless audio receiver to be able to play high resolution audio and and output it using optical cable straight in to the DSP.
So pretty much a chromecast audio, but since that requires a wifi internet connection I'm dead.
Would HifiberryOS fit my needs?
