Just for me to understand:
Why in the world is it not possible to add a DSP Board at the DAC+ ADC pro?
i have the real need of a DSP Unit with balanced Stereo Input / Output, and this would be a perfect combination for me.
From the electronics sight it cannot be a problem, to include this.
I really just don't get it why this is not implemented / supported
It's simple: The DAC+ ADC Pro has been developed before we started with the DSP add-on. There might be a newer version in the future with this feature. However, I can't say when this will be available.
This is not the direction of answer i would like to hear, in fact it is very sad.
As there is no other device with balanced i/o, it would be a device with a certain urgent need.
the Product portfolio just seems complete at first sight. The USB Microfone is not available in Germany. Lots of the extension cards do not have the option of a steel case, the Beocreate coult reach a wider user range, when it would have additional outputs such as un-amplified. and so on.
pretty sure the hifiberry stuff could realy go mor home and professional audio, when it would go on the path of making everithing possible, and not just jumping as high as needet at the moment.
Very sad, that there is still no device making it universal, or stacking several hifiberry devices in one unit, to combine everyones single needs.

It's technically impossible to stack multiple sound cards on a single Pi. A Pi isn't a PC with a bus system that's designed for this.
Sure, we can do a lot more and there will be more products in the future. However, there never will be a product for any use case you can think of.
Availability of products at dealers is a different thing. Many niche products are simply not interesting enough for dealers.
