Hello,
I've got problem with playing to RPi3 with DAC 2 HD from Roon and "local" Music library:
1) there is noise during playback - https://photos.app.goo.gl/rFVE7BBD4wkGc5M58
2) volume regulator changing volume level on the screen itself (the volume actually not changing) - https://photos.app.goo.gl/pw5sZtr9JuGNQ8Pz5

Anton Lushchykau it's Hifiberry OS
-
HiFiBerry team If you were able to extract a debug log, that's probably not the latest version as this has been removed. What version are you using?
-
-
Anton Lushchykau Previously I've tried to install the latest version, but after reboot - I've been trapped in the boot-loop, system boots,
and then restarts...
-
-
Anton Lushchykau I created file noreboot and system booted, but as you can see somewhat I can see wrong HiFiBerry Card, I've got DAC 2 HD, but on the screenshot DAC + DSP...
-
Anton Lushchykau I can see such messages after boot and play -l - no soundcards found

Anton Lushchykau any help with this issue?
-
HiFiBerry team If aplay says "no soundcards found", there is something wrong in your installation. This should never happen. You might try a fresh installation on another SD card.
-
Anton Lushchykau I've tried to install on diff SDs for 3 times this weekend and got the same< after Update from webinterface - this issue
-
Anton Lushchykau Can you provide ink to the latest image? SO I can try to make clean install not upgrade...
-
HiFiBerry team You can find all releases here:

Anton Lushchykau Yesterday I've tried 3 times with 3 SD Cards to run 20220228 - the same behavior - boot loop with RPi3 Image and DAC 2 HD. So I can run 20211105 with noise issues but when I'm trying to update it to 20220228 - I've got a boot loop... Please help with the resolution of this issue. I've tried Volumio and got no such issues...
-
HiFiBerry team As we can't reproduce this here, you might need to wait for the next release and check if this works.
-
Anton Lushchykau Any plans about release date?
-
Anton Lushchykau So, after spending my weekend for testing I've found that without Touchscreen connected - I don't have issues with noise and can updated to the latest version. The problem (I think) with power... will check this. For example, with volumio - everything is ok.
PS Maybe offtopic, but I can't see progress bar for track currently playing... is it normal or not?

That's normal. Audiocontrol doesn't have any information on track length and position.
