if so how much of the gpio pins and power out are free on the pi4 when using both as I'm looking for a line in/line out and 4 channel amp and dsp
but my project also requires a number of GPIO for buttons/sensors/light control

This is not possible. You can't combine multiple sound cards on a single Pi.
ok thanks for clearing that up.. I mistakenly thought the hats might be stackable like other hats for the PI, what's the best way to get a 4 channel amp DAC and DSP with line out, I'll just use a usb microphone for the line in.. also where can I find data on what gpio's are left free on the pi after attaching BEOCREATE 4 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER
HATs in general can't be stacked. The Pi doesn't feature a bus system that can deal with this. While it might work in some cases were cards use different GPIOs (even this might not be enough), this is an exception rather than the normal case.
