HifiBerry Amp with Bose Acoustimass (minimal but powerful setup) possible?

Hi there,
I was wondering if anybody has used the HifiBerry Amp (or the HifiBerry B&O Create) with Bose Acoustimass (either single or double cube). They have a decent reputation and are fairly affordable on ebay, e.g. https://www.ebay.de/itm/115408646188?hash=item1adee4302c:g:-GAAAOSwkl9imRtd

The sub does not require a dedicated sub channel.
Has anyone experience with this combi? Unlike probably most here, I am not looking to convert an existing system but rather building a unique, smart system, as I have not found what I am looking for (not willing to buy a 2nd B&O Beoplay A9 for my weekend apartment ;-) ).

I have a bit of a unique setup (so please hear me out before toasting me :D):

- Studio weekend apartment
- Want minimal but powerful setup
- Don't fancy too visible speakers
- Hate cables ;-)
- Optical input
- Spotify connect / Chromecast / local media
- Home Automation (Home Assistant) integration for volume control

As shared before, the B&O Beoplay A9 in my main apartment is amazing but it's also crazily expensive.

Since the Bose Acoustimass are fairly affordable, I was wondering if this setup makes any sense with HifiBerry Amp (or the B&O create).

Regards,
Dan
