I'm getting a weird stuttering on my DAC+ ADC Pro with an AAmp60 when playing a source from the analog input.
When I monitor the device on AlsaMixer, the Source will momentarily flicker from "[VINL1[SE]]" to "[No select]" every couple of seconds, which matches with the stuttering sounds. Does anyone know what may be happening?
This is a recent problem; the device ran without error for over a year until I moved it to a new apartment a few days ago.
Are you using HiFiBerryOS?
Yes. After posting, I updated to a more recent version (20220726) and now there's no sound coming through the analog input at all. Other sources are working fine. Should I try a fresh install?
Hardware is a Pi 3b Rev 1.2
Update:
Please ignore the previous issue; after disconnecting & reattaching the HAT, I accidentally moved the analog input to the Pi's built-in 3.5mm jack. This is embarrassing. After connecting the device correctly, analog input works and the previously mentioned stuttering seems to be gone. Either the update or re-connection seems to have fixed the issue.

I'm having additional issues with the card now:
Playback works well, but it's taking the card a brief period for the card to respond to an audio signal on the input.
When I hit play, the LED lights on the card seem to stutter for a moment, then an additional red light turns on (and playback of the audio input is fine). About a second after I stop playing, the additional light turns off (and the process begins again next time it detects input).
This is a non-issue for playing music (or anything else that is continuously producing sound); however, voice-based sources (such as podcasts or zoom calls) often have brief pauses that are long enough to trigger this reset, which causes a really choppy listening experience.
I've tried toggling "Start when signal is detected" under Sources/Analog Input in HiFiOS and adjusting Auto Mute Time Right/Left in AlsaMixer. None of these have adjusted this behavior. Is there a way to keep the the ADC listening/playing back the analog input for longer? Even adjusting it to 5 seconds should solve most of my annoyances (though I'd prefer to keep it on indefinitely).
