Can the 2x20 pin header on the Digi2 Pro be used to add on one of your I/O hats like the DAC+ DSP, Digi+ I/O, or DAC+ ADC Pro and use it as an input with the Digi2 as output?
If it is possible, what are the options for volume control? Based on these posts, it seems like it's possible either with the DSP module or with ALSA.
My scenario is that I'm going to be using the Pi + Digi2 Pro to drive a Peachtree GAN1 amp, which takes coax S/PDIF as its only input. But, I'd like to be able integrate a turntable + phono pre into the system.
