Local Storage and M3U relative playlists

Environment:

- HifiBerryOS running on RPI 3+ with HifiBerry DAC+ (running on SD Card on PI)

- Additional 256gb USB Storage in USB port on Pi

Have all my music library on the USB Storage

Trying to put a relative path M3U playlist either on USB Storage or in \library\playlists. This only works when the music library is located on SD card in \library\music. Does not work when music is located on USB hard drive. Only way I can get it to work is absolute paths in M3U file which unfortunately don't work for my use case which is synchronizing my playlists and music from another source. Any ideas or help would be appreciated as I'm currently blocked.

To clarify, I think this is related to using MPD client for Playlist. What I'm wondering is if I can change the default location for music library so that relative M3U playlist files in the \library\playlists folder use the USB hard drive as the default for music files.
