"Albumising" my music folders

Hi Everyone, new Hifiberry OS user here. Thank you Hifiberry for an OS that can use my PiFi Digi+ sound card straight out of the box. I've tried many others like Rune and Volumio with no success.

Now imagine my horror when I found that HBOS can neither play folders nor playlists, the only way I've organised my music collection for the last 20 years! I gather from a number of forum posts that there are no plans to implement these, so I have embarked on the task of configuring my folders to look like albums.

After a few false starts, I am now finding that MP3Tag is nice and easy and gets the result I need. Hope this helps others frustrated by the OS not supporting the full range of how we organise our music collections.

Update: I have seen a few posts about problems updating the library when connecting new storage. When I finished creating my albums I found even my small 16g thumb drive was continuously updating for a couple of days with no music visible. I simply started from scratch with a newly flashed card and it's found my music quite quickly, this time with more stuff on a 128g thumb, as I will now have to keep setting up the device again evey time I add music.
