HiFiBerry team As the situation on the chip market is very challenging today, it's complicated. The project is not dead, but I can't say more today.

Anon I created an account just to comment on this...! i am looking for this type of product as i am integrating vacuum tube preamps in between my tv and stereo equipment using toslink to multichannel. suptronics had something similar to this but it was discontinued for some idiotic reason?? this would be a MUCH better product compared to the current toslink to 5.1 encoders. i would buy 5 of these just so i have enough for the future as all the cool products tend to be discontinued..... PLEASE MAKE THIS.
