Hi everybody,
I've installed a DAC+ DSP on a Raspi Pi4 (Model B Rev 1.2) with HiFiBerryOS (version 20220228) running DAC+ DSP Universal (version 12) as DSP program.
Everything sounds great so far, except for an issue when the audio input is coming from Toslink.
When the audio input is "quiet" (i.e. during a movie when nobody is talking) the audio signal is completely muted and the signal LED from the Toslink input shuts off. As soon as the audio track is a bit louder (i.e. during a movie people starts talking again) the audio signal is restored and the signal LED from the Toslink input lights up again.
I went through previous community posts, and it seems this behavior could be traced back to the "auto-mute" feature. However, I’m struggling to find where I can alter such parameters.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best,
Seba

Note: the Toslink input is coming fror my LG OLED48C1 TV, LG sync feature works (i.e. I can control volume and mute commands through the TV remote). The behavior I've reported is independent from the LG Sync feature (i.e. it persists even when I manually disable it from the TV, from HiFiBerryOS, and from both)
