Experience with Spotify connect

Hi there.

I'm thinking about using the HiFi amp with Spotify connect, instead of buying Bluesound hardware.

Can anyone out there share the experience with Spotify connect stability on HiFiBerry boards?

I have 4 raspberry pi's running hifiberry software latest version. 2 on beocreate, 1 digi+ and 1 dac+ dsp. Spotify connect stopped working about 2 months ago. Tested spotify from pc, mac, ipad on 2 different paying accounts. Nothing works. May be others are experiencing the same?

Yes it spontaneously stopped working for me, it’s just skipping songs and not playing anything. Tried restarting to no avail.

Other users have reported similar issues. Contacting the Spotify support might help. It looks like Spotify blocks some unofficial players for some users.
As Spotify doesn't provide an official Spotify connect player for the Pi, there isn't really more we can do.
