I am using DAC+ DSP with Tidal connect. If i am informed correctly, the DSP programm Version 12 can only output sample rates up to 48 khz.
I was wondering if it is possible to deactivate the DSP and only use the DAC who can output up to 192 khz to use Tidal MQA.

That's not possible. You can still output 192kHz, the DSP program just uses 96kHz internally.
Ok. Thank you. But I could not play Tidal MQA since the MQA codec can not be decoded, right?
You can also play MQA, you simply won't get the additional MQA processing. Basically MQA consists of a normal PCM data stream and some additional data that are processed by the MQA decoder. Without an MQA decoder you simply hear the normal PCM stream.
So I could get a 96khz stream from Tidal connect which is limited by the maximum samling rate of the DSP program?
You can play all material up to 192kHz. The DSP processing is done asynchronously with the sample rate of the DSP.
