I have Raspberry pi 3B, DAC2 HD and DSP add on board.
Now I use DAC2 HD with iPhone and Macbook pro
IPhone (ios 15.2)
MacBook pro (Monterey 12.1)
When I connect Airplay, it work for few second and no sound and in a few second and go back to normal.. this happen repeatly and every time.
for you reference, Bluetooth is working perfectly.
Hifiberry os is latest, I think 20211105 version.
Could you please let me know what is problem?
The Airplay2 implementation isn't working with MacOS today. You could try an older version (e.g. the May version).

You mean that Macbook support only Airplay 2 and HiFiberry support only Airplay 1?
But Macbook is just example, Macbook and iPhone shows same sympton.
also I was wondering May version is for HiFiberry?

Latest versions of HBOS use Airplay2 on shairport which does not seem to work with MacOS.
Airplay 2 doesn't seem to work on the Raspi Zero. With Pi3B+ it works.
Both running latest 20211105 version.
Will there be an update in the future or is it due to the technical characteristics of the Zero?
The Pi Zero isn't powerful enough for Airplay 2. Therefore, there won't be an update with this functionality.
