HifiBerry OS 20210804 after installing and configuring with the web interface no sound used with a cx100.
During installation Beocreate Universal was selected, but it says Unknown Program, with no metadata.
If I try to install Beocreate Universal DSP with the web interface the installation starts, after a while the message finished appears, but nothing changes. Still a wrong DSP and no sound.
Already tried with two different Raspis, 3 and 4, same results.
Did you try rebooting?
I had basically the same thing with the DAC+ DSP board. After a fresh install of everything (for a second time) it worked in terms of writing the DSP program and displaying the details but sadly no sound - volume is locked to maximum of 0db (even with the mute unknown programs turned off).
No amount of re-booting or trying other OS (piCorePlayer) has worked.
I hope your board isn't suffering the same fate as mine.

I have a second Beocrate with my self designed speakers. It works perfectly with HifiBerry OS and the self deifined filters.
Could the Beocrate be brocken?
As the board is detectedm, the hardware seems to be fine.

I'm afraid not, I've had to go back to using my old squeezebox duet receiver. This DAC board has been unreliable from day one, I was an early adopter and thought it was software related as it was all quite new but given their own OS cannot operate it now I think I just was unlucky and got a defective board.

Does clicking on "store sounds adjustments.." on the DSP page work for you? Also, if you were to run on the command line:
dsptoolkit store
..does that work? My board failed at that every time in the end (maybe failed EEPROM?). Different board to yours of course, but from what you've shown mine was doing the exact same things. Sadly mine's out of warranty so destined for the scrap heap :(
Just bought a new one I dont't wanted to throw away the CX100. Works without a problem.
Not a really strong support from HiFiBerry on the community.
