Does anyone know if there is a hole cutting template for creating a case for the DAC+ADC and DAC + boards when mounted on a 3b or 4 rpi? Since the different cable jacks do not align with any of the rpi jacks in depth or side to side it is very hard to measure accurately. It would be a valuable addition to this community of DIYers!

HiFiBerry team There is no template, but the 3D model might help:

T Haugen I think you might have dismissed my comment too quickly? The issue is building a case that is compatible with your products when mounted on a RPi seems to be quite difficult. The images you sent me are just 3d images of your boards and that is not the problem. jack holes have to be in relation to the RPi jack holes and that is hard to measure with meaningful precision. There are few options for cases and they do not address different scenarios such as multiple stacked units, I have three stacked, outdoor units, I have 2, advanced cooling requirements I have 1. I am sure many other people have other unique case needs. If you provided a jack hole template when mounted on RPi 3b and 4 boards your products would be more desirable to more people for just a couple of hours work. If it sold only a few extra boards it would be profitable. This piece of information seems really critical to your DIYer mentality and mission!

HiFiBerry team I did not "dismiss" your comment, but send you a link where you can download 3D models (not images). This should help you to design your own case. We don't provide any 2D templates.
