DAC + optical in?

Hello all

I have a rPi 4 with a DAC+ ADC and I love the sound, but I realise now I should have gone down the optical route to keep everything digital as far as possible (at the moment I'm piping in the analogue output from my TV, which is euch, to say the least).

What's the best approach from here? There doesn't seem to be a single board that does both optical in and RCA analogue out. I could have sworn there used to be a board that did this, but it looks like the digi+ i/o is digital-only. Is stacking my only option?

Any pointers much appreciated!

  You can't stack boards. There is no board today that has both analog and digital inputs and output.
  If you only need a TOSLink input, the DAC+ DSP would be the only board that has the audio interfaces you need.

  Thanks for the reply! I'll get an additional, cheaper DAC for the TV output, where quality is less important, and keep the rPi+HiFiBerry for music.
