Powering AMP2 via screw posts.

I've got a AMP2 and RPi4 and ordered a 19V, 4.74A power supply for the combination.

However, being unable to find a PSU with 5.5x2.1mm plug, I also got a 5.5x2.5mm to cable adapter to add a 5.5x2.5mm power pug to AMP2.

The documentation for AMP2 states input is 12-24V and recommended input is 18-20V. However, the cable posts on AMP2 states "18V".

Is it safe to power AMP2 via cable posts with a 19V 4.74A PSU or, does it need a strict 18V over the posts and only plug is regulated up to 24V.

  Most 2.5mm plugs will just work fine. However, you can also use the screw terminal. They are just connected in parallel to the barrel jack.

  Thanks. I'll try the barrel jack and add my own (via screw terminals) if it doesn't fit well. Finding a Mean-Well PSU was hard here BTW. Had to hunt down the country distributor to get one. :)
