Setup is: AMP100 + Raspi 3 + dsp board; hifiberry os installed; only squeezeplayer activ; steering via ipeng; logitec media server on a NUC; several players through the house.
i tried as well various power supplies on diffent power outltets - nothing changed
Is this a software problem or is it the hardware of the Amp100?
Did you enable SPDIF? Try disabling this.
I did follow your advise - but unfortunately SPDIF was already disabled (as well as all other sources which could be disabled - only exception is squeezelite which is used for playing music from my Logitech media Server)
Any other suggestions?

Not sure if this might be a squeezelite issue. What happens without the DSP?

i did some extensive testing; results are:
- deactivated squeezelite as input; use only web-radio from here on
- unfortuately no of the following - as a stand-alone action alone - nor in total combination - did help
- there is this humming sound going on
- deactivated dsp board in hifiberry sw - no effect
- demounted dsp board physically - no effect
if i stop playing radio through web interface - it is completly silent - but ! only for ~ 2 seconds - than this humming sound is there - it is humming at low volume; but fionce is complaining ... :-(

what should i try next?

ps: the amp is driving 2 old but refurbished Videoton Minimax 2 - and after 'Klangeinmessung' they are playing very well ....
