I just received a Hifiberry DAC+ DSP module and I'm having a lot of trouble getting it up and running. I am having a ton of trouble getting anything output from the Toslink out. I have a Toslink output from my TV (which is forced to Stereo mode) going into the Hifiberry DAC+ DSP, and the output from the DAC+ DSP going into an SMSL M500 optical input.
If I use the following command, I get Toslink pass-thru:
dsptoolkit install-profile https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hifiberry/hifiberry-dsp/master/sample_files/xml/dacdsp-default.xml
But then I cannot apply any sort of equalization or additional settings because the DSP settings tell me the DSP program is unknown. In the Available Programs list, I see DAC+ DSP Universal v11 and v12, but those do not work at all. For v12, the input signal is recognized, but the M500 does not see an incoming signal from the DAC+ DSP. For v11, it does not recognize the signal from the TV at all.
I'm totally stuck here, and not sure what to try next. Any ideas? Thanks.
