I have the Hifiberry Dac2 Pro and in the specs it says
"Hardware volume control for DAC". What kind of volume knob can I buy to use that volume control?

  There is no "volume knob". Hardware volume control means that the volume control is directly integrated into the DAC hardware. However, to control it, you need some software, e.g. "alsamixer".
