AMP 100 & DSP making a terrible high pitch noise after a fresh install

I just made a fresh install of Hifiberry OS on my Raspberry pi 4, I installed first on the Raspberry pi, then turned it off, then plugged the Amp 100 with DSP, then restarted. After restart I played Spotify on my mac and channeled the sound to the Amp 100 via Airplay, and the speakers made a really horrible noise, high pitch.

It happened already yesterday as I was doing some tests with DSP and optical in. 

My DSP program is V.11, the default one that came in with the fresh install.

Now I'm a bit concerned to start the hifiberry again, because I really don't want to break my speakers with this sound. What do you recommend me to do?

  Update:
  I had the optical cable plugged in the Optical In when I started the Raspberry Pi, but it was plugged only on one side, so I thought that was maybe making the noise. So I removed the cable and the DSP from Amp 100, and restarted -> it worked, sound was coming out clean, as expected.

  
  Then I set again the DSP, without the optical cable, played sound via Airplay, and it didn't work, I got the same result as before: loud white noise.

   

  At tis stage, I don't know what else I can try. I'm looking forward for your recommendations.

  Update: it seems that I had the wrong DSP program installed. For some reason, I had the DAC DSP program installed. After a fresh install and installing DSP Add-on V13, it works.
