My old Technics stereo revived for today's age, now playing great music from my old CD collection (converted in digital) and from Spotify.
The former CD unit today contains a Pi 4 + HiFiBerry DAC2 Pro + USB disk; it was a super-easy DIY, and HiFiBerryOS ready to rock out of the box is a joy. I strongly suggest the "Universal base" to make your hardware setup solid and firmly attached, and to avoid any worries when connecting and disconnecting cables.
