Digi+ Raspbian OS 5.4.79-v7l+ card not available in Kodi and VLC

Hello all,
After an sd-card crash I had to reinstall Raspbian on an new card. After this fresh install and updates / upgrades the Digi+ card was no longer available in Kodi and VLC. Very annoying! Only a “Pulse Audio” was present. Did all the well known tricks in the config.txt file (dtoverlay, asound.conf etc etc.) Nogo.
At last I tried to uninstall the pulseaudio:
sudo apt-get remove pulseaudio
And yes! Finally the digi+ was back in Kodi and useable as passthrough device. Just thought I might share this simple solution.
