HiFiBerry team No, this isn't possible. You need the Amp100 for this.

Ian Just want to dig a bit more on this, as I have been thinking about the same thing — it looks as though I2S DOUT on the Pi is routed directly to DIN on the TAS5756m (obviously...), is it possible that severing that trace on the Amp2, routing Pi DOUT to the DSP addon DIN, and then AD IC DOUT back to the TAS5756M would suffice? (That looks to be how I@s is wired up on the DAC+DSP, for instance) Do they have different I2C addresses? I'm not too hot on how I2S works, but I assume they can share the clock lines.

HiFiBerry team While theoretically this might work, HiFiBerryOS won't detect it and won't be able to use it as it just isn't designed to be combined. There is a very good chance that you will damage the hardware with this and I would not recommend to try this!
