Mr Laurie Reynolds I'm wanting to find an HDMI eARC splitter which will drive the Cambridge 5.1 receiver and also drive 2 new ceiling speakers for the overhead channels preferably by Bluetooth wireless connections. Is this possible using any HiFiBerry cards? I've discoverd the LG TV has a very slow ethernet wireless and am planning to install KODI media centre on Raspberry Pi with a separate NAS drive,
Alternatively, can the KODI MC drive the 5.1 AVR via an HDMI splitter and use the 2nd HDMI ports on the RPi4 to drive the TV?

HiFiBerry team Unfortunately, the Pi does not support eARC

Mr Laurie Reynolds That's a shame. Thanks for getting back to me and your help.
Can you help me understand why not and what's involved in supporting the eARC standard?

HiFiBerry team It simply needs an HDMI hardware with eARC support. The Pi doesn't have this.
