Any chance for an old RPi 1?

Is it possible give some use to playing music to my old RPi 1? Is there any compatible HiFiBerry DAC (no soldering :-) ) ? If not is it right to use some external DAC with it?

  Unfortunately there is no DAC for the Pi1 available anymore. As the Pi1 also had serious issues with USB sound cards, I would rather recommend to find a used Pi2 or Pi3 on eBay or similar sites.

  Sergio Bacelar I'm using the RPI 1 B+ with the "HIFIBERRY DAC+ STANDARD – RCA VERSION". Works perfectly! I'm running Raspbian 4.19.97+ with raspotify and omxplayer. Very happy with it.

  You could also try https://github.com/nicokaiser/rpi-audio-receiver , supports bluetooth, spotify, airplay, UPnP and snapcast. And it works flawless on a RPi 1 with the integrated audio as well as with a HiFiBerry DAC. You can get a DAC on eBay, but you'll have to do some easy soldering.
