Which DAC do I choose in Picoreplayer, the DAC2Pro is not on my list of choices when configuring picoreplayer?

  You can use the DAC+ (Pro) driver.

  Hi, I have a new DAC2 Pro and with the picoreplayer DAC+ driver selected squeezelite won't start and in dmesg I see:

  snd-rpi-hifiberry-dacplus soc:sound: ASoC: CODEC DAI pcm512x-hifi not registered - will retry

   

  Any ideas?

  Might be a hardware or software problem - it's not easy to say. To check if the system, I recommend to boot HiFiBerryOS (https://www.hifiberry.com/os). Then check, what sound card is detected.
