DAC+ DSP GPIO

I've just switched from the DAC+ to the DAC+ DSP. I'm very happy with it from an audio standpoint, but what I'm missing is being able to use the GPIO pins.

With the DAC+ it is clear to see where one can solder a 40-pin header, and I was using this to connect buttons, LEDs etc. With the DAC+ DSP, I can't work out where I would physically connect any peripherals. I feel like I must be missing something?

There is some relevant information here, but not enough to help me:
