Any plans to spin products compatible with the Pi4 Compute Module? It's a very nice (small) form factor, a DAC+AMP host board for the Pi4CM would be very nice...

Very cool…and interesting that they decided to break with the SODIMM format. I think it was the right call.
I imagine that the HiFiBerry HATs will work just fine with the new Compute Module 4 IO Board.

They probably will. However, the Compute module and I/O board together will be much more expensive than a single Pi. While the Compute module might be interesting for some applications, solutions based on this will be more expensive as you have to add some stuff externally. -
Dana Inman My thought is simply for smaller applications. The compute module can be equipped with flash memory and WiFi, and the DAC/AMP could supply the necessary power, hopefully within the same outline as the compute module - quite a bit more compact than a Pi4 + AMP.
I have done a couple of PiZero + AMP projects which are nice and compact, but lacking in power compared to the Pi4.

HiFiBerry team It won't really become a a lot more compact than the Amp2 and the Pi3A+. Something like the MiniAmp might save space, but when you look onto the Amp2 board you can see that there's not much unused space.
I'm not sure how much more people would pay for this to understand if this makes sense at all. -
Dana Inman I certainly can't speak to demand in the market, but the Pi3A+ is 65mm × 56.5mm whereas the Pi4CM is 40mm x 55mm and much lower profile since it is lacking connectors like Ethernet, and is using low profile connectors to the host card.
