No sound via Hifiberry Amp2 in Kodi

Hello,

I have a raspberry pi 3 running with the latest raspbian (now called Raspberry PI OS based on Debian Buster with Kernel 5.4) and a Hifiberry Amp2. I followed the instructions in this documentary https://www.hifiberry.com/docs/software/configuring-linux-3-18-x/.

The sound under raspbian works fine but I have also installed Kodi. In Kodi I can choose Hifiberry as output, but there is no sound.

I also tried Kodi with libreelec and there sound via Hifiberry works out of the box. I just have to select the Hifiberry card in Kodi as audio output and it worked. But libreelec is too restricted for me, I like to do more with it.

I don't know what's the problem or what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help me?

  Because it is often asked, here the output of aplay -l:

  That's fine. However, I can't help with Kodi configuration. We generally recommend librelec as people often have problems configuring Kodi on Raspbian that it works.
