Feeding amplified signal to output of unpowered Amp2

I am building two speakers, each containing a Raspberry Pi Zero W and Amp2. They are powered with either an 18 VDC 60W power supply or 19.2 VDC battery pack. For flexibility, the speakers are identical, and I plan on using them individually, or together as a wired pair. My question is if I power one of the speakers AMP2, and route the amplified second channel to the second speaker, will the unpowered AMP2 in the second speaker be damaged, since it is seeing the amplified signal on its output and is unpowered?

That's not a good idea. While I can't say that it WILL be damaged, there definitely is a risk of damage by feeding power to the output of an unpowered amplifier.

Thank you for your answer. I will fashion some sort of disconnect switch to isolate the amplifier outputs from the remote signal.
