DAC+ standard - no sound

Hi,

I've looked through the various threads on this and don't see anything that quite corresponds to my issue, so I thought I'd start a new thread. I'm using a DAC+ Standard (H.W. 2.6 is printed on the board) on a Raspberry Pi 3 and can't get any sound through the DAC.

I've tried with Raspbian, PiCorePlayer and HiFiBerry OS.

I've also tried different SD cards and a different Pi. It doesn't work with any of those.

Feeding from Logitech Media Server and playing in Squeezelite, music claims to be playing in the display, but nothing comes from the amp.

Do I need to provide more diagnostic information? I've never seriously used the DAC since buying it, but think it was selectable under Raspbian Stretch. However I never got round to playing sound through it until now.

Is it dead? Or am I doing something wrong? Or not doing something I should?
