Hi, I'm planning to use pi 4 4gb model for both DAC and NAS.
NAS will use for just backups, photos, videos etc. and not for any music files.
Is it possible to use hifiberry os as a NAS also with samba or any others?

HiFiBerry team You mean you want to have your Pi run as a NAS server? I wouldn't recommend this. While there is a samba package on the system, there is no specific support for this in the UI and it's also not a functionality that we test. Therefore, it might just break at some update.
Usually people do it the other way around: Have an external NAS with all your files on it and use the Pi only as a player. That's the scenario, HiFiBerryOS was designed for.
Is it possible? Probably. Are there any guides? No. -
serkan.e yes, I want to build a NAS with pi and also want to use the same pi as a DAC.
Nas functionality will use time to time so it won't allocate resources for all the time to affect DAC.
NAS conf. will be done and attached to any of my devices for once then I don't need any UI.
