Latest HiFiBerry OS - 20200424
The About page on HiFiBerryOS is showing the connected DAC as a DAC+ Zero/Light/MiniAmp. The Sound>DSP page just tells me what I can do if only I had a DSP card connected!
How can I set it to the correct DAC? I found a post where dac-dsp reset was the command to use but this creates a 'command not found' error.
Looks like the detection of the DAC+ DSP is still not working perfectly. Unfortunately in our lab setup it's working, therefore it's hard to find the bug :(
Try logging in and run
/opt/hifiberry/bin/reconfigure-players
You might try it a few times.

I wanted to try the wifi. so I turned it on, unplugged the ethernet and rebooted. When came up the DAC+ DSP wasn't recognized anymore. I tried to run /opt/hifiberry/bin/reconfigure-players numerous times but I get this error.
# /opt/hifiberry/bin/reconfigure-players
/opt/hifiberry/bin/reconfigure-players: line 108: 1093 Terminated dsptoolkit --timeout=20 get-volume 2 > /dev/null > /dev/null
Nothing changed, exiting...

Hmm, that's not expected. Lets try with a longer timeout (however, 20 seconds should be enough):
What's the output of
dsptoolkit --timeout=60 get-volume
Do you have anything else connected to the Pi?
Nothing is connected to the Pi.
This is the output

Interesting that it is that slow. I don't know why this is, but we can increase the timeout.We'll also introduce a method to fix the settings with the next release.
What you can do now:
mount -o remount,rw /boot
Edit /boot/config.txt and use
dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplusdsp
Reboot
Ok, I did. Now my UMIK-1 is not recognized by HiFiBerryOS. I plug the mic to the usb port when asked and it keeps spinning. Was working fine a couple of days ago.
We have seen probölems with this Mic before. The Micro-USB connector on the Mic is really bad and often doesn't give correct contact. Try unplugging-replugging again.
You can check from command line using
lsusb
Mic is ON, I also swapped the cable but nothing.

Problem is dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplusdsp when i revert it back to dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac mic works again.
That's just luck. Probably the reboot did the job. The UMIK-1 is know to be problematic.
Also I get a huge pop at the and of the sweep during automatic calibration.
I rebooted different times with both. Everytime hifiberry-dacplusdsp was set mic was down.
Ok, we'll have a look. I have an idea what might cause this.

Seems now my DAC+DSP isnt giving any audio after update.
Also my DSP profile seems to be gone and keeps saying "Unknown Profile", even after trying installing profile 10 or 11.
Also noted this when trying to run reconfigure-players:

DSP found, but no profile known, trying to fix

Seemed my SD Card was corrupted. Reinstalled latest image and everything (DAC+DSP + profiles) worked out of the box.
