I have a raspberry 3 with a DAC+ Pro. The Software is RuneAudio, the newest version. My Problem is: After a while the left and right channel are swapping. I read the post "dac+ pro - RPI3 left right channel swap", my problem ist clearly the same. But I have no WLAN, I use the ethernet device and the music is on a harddisk connected to my main computer. I have a "Fritzbox"-Router. The PC and the raspberry are connected with the fritzbox. In the post I have mentioned above there`s no solution for this problem. Do you have an idea? I have renewed the software, but it takes no effect.

HiFiBerry team Unfortunately I can't say why this happens. It might be a software problem or a hardware problem of the Pi. First, I would recommend to check if the same happens with another software, e.g. HiFiBerryOS.

Dirk Dmoch Thank you for your answer,
but I don`t think it`s a software problem, because RuneAudio is running on many systems like mine and I`ve never heard of this problem.
In the post "dac+ pro - RPI3 left right channel swap" you said:
"...this is a sign that the data aren't delivered fast enough to the sound card. This could also result in channel swapping."
It is better to use an USB-HardDisk instead of LAN? And are you sure, that is not a defekt of the HiFiBerrry Dac+? Because I want to buy a HiFiBerry Dac2 (by the way, do you know when you can provide it?), and then I can test if the problem is on the card or not.
Best regards

HiFiBerry team Yes, it's definitely not a problem of the DAC. It simply can't change channels. It just converts data as they are delivered from the Pi.
I can't say if a USB harddisk will change something. You can just try.
