Raspbian Buster Lite and HiFiBerry DAC+ - no audio


I've installed Buster, upgraded it to the latest, installed the HiFiBerry and followed:

I've a file called 'Test.wav' in ~

Theres no audio coming from the phonos on the DAC+

so I installed mplayer, which gives:

I have no idea where to go next.  *Any* help will be appreciated and thanks in advance
