I'm not sure what specifically you mean by "NFS support". What do you want to do with NFS?
I'd like use "mount" with "-t nfs" option.
We haven't tested this at all as it was never designed to support this. You can try, but it probably won't work.If you want to access music on a server, we recommend to install LMS or Roon on your server to stream to HiFiBerryOS.
NFS works great for streaming music from NASs as you don't need to deal with giving the Pi passwords and logins. works great on all other Rpi music streamers. any reason it can't be activated on HFB?
NFS isn't really popular in home environments. Also using NFS without authentication is no more secure than having an SMB server without a password. I haven't seen anybody implementing NFS with Kerberos authentication at home.
We won't spend time on this, but if somebody wants to implement it, we would probably accept a contribution.
I w9uld be very interested in NFS support as all my digital music is on a Linux server and accessible via NFS. (Within the home network.)
