HiFiBerry team Hi,
The DAC+ Standard and Pro provide an ALSA volume control that you can set using "alsamixer" or similar tools. I'm not sure what volume control capabilities OSMC offers. However I would expect that I can use the ALSAvolume control. Unfortunately I haven't used OSMC for a very long time and therefore can't say exactly what you need to configure.Best regards,

Edgar Pison Hi,
Ok so i need to install alsamixer on my Pi as well as OSMC ? With this program how can i change the volume ? Do i need a remote control ? Is the control accessible on OSMC ? I didn't tell but i will use the official 7" touchscreen do that i can use OSMC directly on my speaker. It's a party and home speaker. That's why i would prefer to have an easy to use volume control, i wanted to have a dial or +/- buttons at first but i don't think it's possible for me with the DAC+.
Thanks for the answer and best regards,

HiFiBerry team The tools is probably already installed. You can just login via SSH and run alsamixer from command line. Unfortunately I don't know OSMC in detail.
It's probably the best to ask specific OSMC details in the OSMC forum. How to control the volume has nothing to do with the DAC+, that features the software your're using (in your case OSMC) will provide.Best regards,
Daniel
