HiFiBerry team Yes, that's possible.

Gilbert Is there also a beocreate Image available, since those i found we're from 2018 and don't start with the 4B.

HiFiBerry team Beocreate has now been integrated into HiFiBerryOS:

Gilbert Thanks for the information. It would bei good to have mentioned this also in the documentation of the beocreate.

Gilbert Good Evening,
since i figured out, that Hifiberry OS doesn't support the Raspberry touchscreen, is there a way to use the full potential of the beocreate with other distributions? My plan was to use the Raspberry with beocreate and a touchscreen as mediacenter with the beocreate as amp, dsp and crossover for two two-way speakers. But with Hifiberry OS this seems to be not possible...

HiFiBerry team Depends a bit an what you mean by "full potential". You can program the DSP with basically any distributions that comes with an up-to-date Python interpreter. You will have to install DSPToolkit and can then program the DSP by either using pre-defined DSP profiles are creating your own DSP programs using SigmaStudio:

You can find the documentation for DSPToolkit on Github:

Gilbert Good evening.
I have now everything set up hardwarewise but i ran into some problems.
When connect the Pi over the whole GPIO connector to the Beocreate Board the Pi won't boot and the touchscreen (the official 7") won't show anything.
I then tried to just connect the GPIO pins mentioned in https://www.hifiberry.com/beocreate/beocreate-doc/beocreate-gpios/.
Here all parts are working, but Hifiberry OS won't find any soundcard.

HiFiBerry team Hi,
did you plug the Pi directly onto the Beocreate? From your post it seems you're using cables. This isn't supported and it may not work at all.Best regards,
Daniel -
Gilbert I tried both, plugging the Pi directly onto the Beocreate and via a 40 pin cable same result. But when i just connect the pins described in the documentation it works, but the Beocreate isn't detected from Hifiberry OS.

Gilbert So tonight I have set up everything from ground up with the Pi directly plugged onto the Beocreate, now the connection to the Beocreate works. As soon i get a longer display cable for the touchscreen I then try this too. Thanks for the help so far.

Gilbert Everything worked fine so far. I was able to create a Crossover using the 4way-iir Profile with dsptoolkit. I then tried to integrate a delay for the tweeter which made it necessary to use the other 4way profiles with the delay function in it. But here two problems occured. First there was no Sound with neither of them. Secondly it was Not possible to use the already created crossover file. I always got the output "can't parse XML File", even with the crossover file as txt.
