Quick question. I had a definitive technology w7 die on me. I have opened it up and gutted the circuit boards/amps and was thinking of using a spare Pi3 and AMP2 to repurpose it as a side project.
My question is, the speaker has one 3" woofer (2 passive radiators) and 4 tweeters. I'm concerned about the crossover separation between the L/R channels going to the woofer and tweeters. If I run the audio output in mono the woofer will get highs, and tweeters low and will presumably sound poor. If I run L/R stereo is it possible to do a crossover to each channel to mitigate that?
Presumably the only actual solution is to wire in a physical crossover to the AMP outputs?
