HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro sample rate 352800

Guys,

I downloaded 352800 sampling rate flac from: http://www.lindberg.no/hires/test/2L-145/2L-45_stereo_01_FLAC_352k_24b.flac

Played it with the following:

pi@pi2:~ $ sox -t flac 2L-45_stereo_01_FLAC_352k_24b.flac -t alsa hw:0,0

2L-45_stereo_01_FLAC_352k_24b.flac:

File Size: 337M Bit Rate: 8.77M
Encoding: FLAC Info: Generated by Merging Technologies Album Publishing
Label Code: 2L
Channels: 2 @ 24-bit Track: 1 of 12
Samplerate: 352800Hz Album: POLARITY — an acoustic jazz project
Replaygain: off Artist: Hoff Ensemble: Jan Gunnar Hoff, Audun Kleive & Anders Jormin
Duration: 00:05:07.29 Title: Innocence

and checked the sampling rate:

pi@pi2:~ $ cat /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params
access: RW_INTERLEAVED
format: S24_LE
subformat: STD
channels: 2
rate: 352800 (352800/1)
period_size: 1024
buffer_size: 8192

How is it possible? DAC+, according the specs, should be max 192k.

Is it downsampling somewhere?

Rgds,
Konrad
