I am thinking of expanding my RPI/OSMC setup. Now I am using the RPI 2B with the DAC+ Pro expansion. Running OSMC and Raspotify. To an external amplifier. But I would like to have the opportunity to use room equalization. And then upgrade to the amp+ aswell. Have anyone tried to combine these things and have a stable system running? Also I can't seem to find a casing fitting all 3 modules. Or am I not looking hard enough?

Hi,
unfortunately it's not possible to combine multiple sound cards on a Raspberry Pi. So you have to choose between the Amp2 and the DAC+ DSP. If you want to use a DSP with an amplifier the Beocreate 4 channel amplifier is the best choice.

Thank you for your answer., That's a pitty. I thought that they were to combine. It would have been great for my setup. Would the Beocrate be the best buy for me then? I'm only using a stereo setup. So I don't need the extra channels. Right now I'm just using a external Trends Audio class D amp. But I would have loved to put it all in one casing it will fit in and the extra power of the AMP2 or Beocrate. And there are no casing for the beocrate right? My speakers are Dali Grand Diva's. They are pretty heavy to drive. Getting close to 2 Ohms at some points. I usedto own a Lyngdorf TDAI 2200 with roomperfect. And I'm am missing the opportunity to correct the rooms equalization. Or is the DAC+ DSP enough. I think it would be easy to install in my setup.

Hi Lars,
if you ant to use your existing Amplifier, the DAC+ DSP is enough. If you want to have an integrated Amp, the Beocreate is the only board that can do this. You don't have to use all 4 channels. The 60W channels on the Beocreate 4 channel amplifier can also drive 2 Ohm speakers.There is no case for the Beocreate board available at the moment, as most people directly integrate these into their speakers. We're working on a simple 3D design that can be printed on a 3d printer, but this will still take some time.
