Use RPi with Digi+ as "reciever"

Hi,

I'm pretty new at Raspberry Pi (got one as a birthdaygift), and I bought a Hifiberry Digi+ to try and create a "reciever" function, prehaps a bit overhasty... =)

My question is if there is a software that can use S/PDIF (Toslink) input and send it outgoing through the headphone jack of the RPi?

My problem is that my TV is lacking a headphone jack and a proper bluetooth-functionality, but there is a S/PDIF (Toslink) outgoing signal. I could have just bought a loose DAC and my problem would have been solved, but I was experimenting with my RPi at the time and thought it might be the solution.

I've installed the Hifiberry Digi+ but when i installed different software (I've tried Rasbian, LibreElec and Volumio) I realized they lacked the option to choose a "physical source", like incoming Toslink and send the signal to the headphone jack. I should perhaps have checked that earlier. =)

Thank you for reading my post!
